10/01/2023 - The TSR Nitro teams made a decision to become more aggressive in the final four races in the NHRA Camping World drag racing series. That theory proved successful this weekend at the NHRA Midwest Nationals, with Dodge//SRT racers Matt Hagan and Leah Pruett racing to an event win and runner-up finish, respectively.

09/08/2021 - The 36th annual Mopar Express Lane Nationals Presented by Pennzoil are set for this weekend at Maple Grove Raceway near Reading, Pennsylvania, with Mopar and Dodge//SRT supported racers staged and ready to begin their drive for NHRA world championship titles in the first of seven “Countdown to the Championship” playoff series national events.

10/04/2015 - A dramatic holeshot victory by DSR pilot Jack Beckman aboard his 2015 Dodge Charger R/T Funny Car in the final elimination round of the 31st annual NHRA Keystone Nationals, the third of six “Countdown to the Championship” playoff events, brought to a close a challenging race day that saw the Mopar driver set a national elapsed time record, and earn a career-best seventh title this season. The win was also the 15th Funny Car title for DSR with the new 2015 Mopar Dodge Charger R/T since it made its debut 21 national events ago.

10/03/2015 - Cold and wet weather conditions on both Friday and Saturday hampered the Mopar contingent’s qualifying efforts for the 31st annual NHRA Keystone Nationals, the third of six “Countdown to the Championship” playoff events, being held this weekend near Reading, Pennsylvania, but a pair of DSR 2015 Dodge Charger R/T Funny Cars still made their way into the top-three spots before qualifying concluded.

10/05/2014 - Matt Hagan drove his DSR Dodge Charger R/T to a memorable title win at the 30th annual NHRA Nationals at Reading, Pennsylvania’s Maple Grove Raceway, as well as the points lead in the “Countdown to the Championship” with just two national events left in the six-event playoff series. The title win was Hagan’s first at Reading, a second in the playoffs, his third of the season and the lucky number 13th of his career as evidenced by turning the win lights on while crossing the finish line in a fireball.

10/04/2014 - While temperatures cooled into the 60 degree range at Maple Grove Raceway near Reading, Pennsylvania, for the final qualifying sessions of the 30th annual NHRA Nationals, the competition heated up as Mopar drivers jostled for position on the eliminations ladders for Sunday’s fourth race of the six-event playoff series known as the “Countdown to the Championship”.  

10/03/2014 - It was a quick start to the 30th annual NHRA Nationals for a number of Mopar entries in qualifying on Friday at Maple Grove Raceway near Reading, Pennsylvania, the fourth stop in the six-event playoff series known as the “Countdown to the Championship”. The first qualifying session saw all four DSR Dodge Charger R/T Funny Cars in the top-five times with Matt Hagan leading the charge as provisional No.1, while Jeg Coughlin Jr. drove his JEGS.com Dodge Dart to the provisional No.3 spot in Pro Stock. 

10/06/2013 - A dramatic finish in an all-Mopar final elimination Pro Stock showdown at the 29th annual Auto-Plus NHRA Nationals gave Jeg Coughlin Jr. the lead in the NHRA “Countdown to the Championship” with a title win over teammate Allen Johnson earned by just one-thousandths of a second on a holeshot.

10/05/2013 - Qualifying for the 29th annual Auto-Plus NHRA Nationals helped mix things up a bit in the championship standings for two Mopar drivers heading into Sunday’s elimination round at Maple Grove Raceway as Allen Johnson qualifies his Mopar second and jumps two spots into fourth in the Pro Stock points battle while Matt Hagan gets edged out of the Funny Car lead by the No.1 qualifier.

10/04/2013 - With just three NHRA nationals events left in the 2013 Mello Yello Series season, the intensity of the battle for points and position is heating up and defending Pro Stock champion Allen Johnson knows now is the time to make some gains. The Mopar Express Lane driver did exactly that by earning the provisional No.1 position and five bonus points for his efforts in Friday qualifying at Maple Grove Raceway for the 29th annual Auto-Plus NHRA Nationals.  

10/06/2012 - Team Mopar driver Allen Johnson claimed the No. 6 position in Pro Stock qualifying on Saturday, Oct. 6, during the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series event at Maple Grove Raceway near Reading, Pa. For the current points leader, he has now qualified sixth or better in all 21 races this season.
