Stellantis Media Site Chrysler Group LLC Increases Reimbursement for Adaptive Equipment Contact: Ralph  Kisiel Chrysler Group LLC Increases Reimbursement for Adaptive Equipment February 9, 2011,  Auburn Hills, Mich. - Chrysler Group LLC announced today that it has increased to $1,000 the cash reimbursement it offers to help cover the cost of installing adaptive driver or passenger equipment on Chrysler, Jeep®, Dodge and Ram Truck vehicles.Chrysler Group’s Automobility program was the first in the industry to help ease the financial burden of installing adaptive equipment, such as rear-door lifts for wheelchair loading, and hand controls for steering, braking and accelerating.“We continue to have an unwavering commitment to the continued success of the Automobility Program so that our special-needs customers can fully participate in society and enjoy the freedom and independence that automotive transportation makes possible,” said Fred Diaz, President and CEO of the Ram Truck Brand and Lead Executive for U.S. Sales.Effective immediately, conversions to all eligible Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram Truck models qualify for a maximum reimbursement of $1,000, up from $750. Previously, only conversions to Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country minivans were reimbursed up to a maximum of $1,000.The Automobility cash reimbursement is available in addition to other incentive programs in effect at the time of purchase or lease.Chrysler Group announced the new cash reimbursement during the recent 20th annual National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association in Daytona Beach, Fla.
