This newest FIAT Studio, at 3560 Sheridan Dr., in Amherst, N.Y. is one of nine FIAT Studios to open in the state of New York this year.Northtown Automotive Companies, owner of Northtown FIAT, transformed a former dealership into a new FIAT Studio in Amherst, just a few miles from its Northtown Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealership in Tonawanda, N.Y. The Northtown dealership group has 12 dealerships, including the new FIAT Studio.“We now have 102 open FIAT Studios across the United States,” said Laura Soave, Head of FIAT Brand North America. “We will continue growing our network adding more FIAT Studios almost weekly through the rest of this year. We welcome Northtown FIAT to our growing network.”The FIAT brand has a large and loyal following in the Buffalo area, said Joe Erbacher, Studio Director at Northtown FIAT.“We’re seeing customers who drove Fiats back in the ’70s and ’80s, and younger customers from the area universities are coming in as well,” Erbacher said.
