Stellantis Media Site Statement: Bolt Contact: Eric  Mayne Statement: Bolt May 15, 2015,  Auburn Hills, Mich. - FCA US LLC is voluntarily recalling an estimated 72 cars in the U.S. to inspect and tighten or install a bolt that secures a side-curtain air bag. Post-assembly inspections discovered some vehicles produced during a 10-day period this year may have loose or missing bolts. The bolt is designed to secure a side-curtain air bag which, if improperly installed, may not provide full protection. The Company is unaware of any related injuries, accidents or customer complaints. An automated assembly-line verification process has been implemented to prevent recurrence. The campaign is limited to certain model-year 2015 Dodge Challengers. An additional six vehicles are believed to be in Canada, while three are in Mexico. Affected customers will be advised when they may schedule service. Customers with questions may call the FCA US Customer Information Center at 1-800-853-1403.
