Senior Vice President, Employee Relations and Manufacturing Human Resources Christopher G. Fields was appointed Senior Vice President, Employee Relations and Manufacturing Human Resources on October 6, 2021. In this position, Fields oversees U.S. and Canada Manufacturing and Parts Distribution Centers Employee Relations; Labor Economics & Benefit Finance; Wage & Salary Administration; and the Center for Employee Development as well as the human resources function for Manufacturing. Fields first joined Stellantis in 1996, then known as Chrysler Corporation, as a production operator at the McGraw Glass Plant (Michigan) and was promoted into management in 1997 as a production supervisor. Beginning in 1999, he held a number of positions with increasing responsibility in Human Resources and Employee Relations at several of the company’s manufacturing facilities, including Warren Truck and Jefferson North Assembly Plants. Prior to his return to Stellantis, Fields managed Labor and Employee Relations for BP, PLC in Houston, Texas, where he led the LR/ER function for as many as 25,000 employees spanning 50 facilities within the western hemisphere.
