Customers Drive Development of Uconnect Touch^®

June 20, 2011 , Auburn Hills, Mich. -  Customer input — from technophobes as well as “power techies” — is crucial to the ongoing development of Uconnect systems in Ram Truck, Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep® vehicles.

Prior to designing the Uconnect Touch® system, currently available in the 2011 Dodge Journey, Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300, engineers collected feedback from customers saying they wanted systems that are easy to use, capable and don’t distract from their primary task of driving.

As the Uconnect Touch system approached market launch, engineers also conducted thorough validation tests to check compatibility with a wide range of mobile phones, MP3 players and other media devices.
