Ram Truck/RCH Racing - Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship - Post-Race Quotes - Utah

August 16, 2013 , Tooele, Utah -

BROC TICKLE (No. 20 Ram/Sycuan Casino/RCH Racing/Suzuki RM-Z450) Finished 19th
YOU RAN WELL IN PRACTICE AND QUALIFYING THIS MORNING BUT THE MOTOS WERE TOUGH THIS AFTERNOON. “Yes they were. I kind of liked the track and a lot of people didn’t. It was a struggle today. Practice went really well. I had a good ride going actually until I crashed in the first moto. I hit the ground hard so it took me a while to get going. I got back on the bike, finished the race and regrouped. Dr. G (Dr. H. Rey Gubernick) actually came over and hooked me up with a little adjustment.

“My second moto was going really well except on the first lap when I stalled my bike there in the pack and lost probably five or 10 positions before the first lap was over but I felt really good; I felt awesome. I just had a little problem with the bracket on one of our electrical pieces and the bike wouldn’t run anymore. It kind of stinks but it is what it is. It’s the first mechanical problem we’ve had all year and I can’t complain about that.”

WHAT WERE YOUR IMPRESSIONS OF THE TRACK TODAY? EVERYTHING ABOUT THE COURSE WAS MANMADE. “It had everything on it. It had hard patches, sand, ruts and it had some chop. It had everything from sand to the hardest thing you can possibly imagine riding on. It had a variety of everything.

“For some reason, I ride tracks like this really well because you’ve got to set the track up, flow and connect the whole track together to get some good laps going.

“I need to have a good practice next week, have a good race at Lake Elsinore (season finale on August 24) and end the season on a strong note.”
