“Our consistent investment in our product portfolio has propelled us to a streak of 63 consecutive months of year over year sales gains,” said Dave Buckingham, Chief Operating Officer, FCA Canada.  “I fully expect these strong sales results to continue as we introduce more great new products like the Jeep Renegade and FIAT 500X to the Canadian market.”

Sales Highlights:

Jeep Brand sales were up 2 percent, with 4,282 units sold, compared with 4,212 sold in February of 2014, marking a February sales record.  The Jeep brand has set a sales record in each month dating back to February, 2014.

Jeep Cherokee was the best-selling Jeep in Canada, in both the months January and February of 2015.  For the month, 1,474 copies of the Jeep Cherokee were sold, marking an increase of 9 per cent over 1,358 sold in February of 2014.  These results represent a monthly sales record.  The Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk – the most capable mid-size sport utility vehicle – was recently named “Four Wheeler of the Year”, by Four Wheeler magazine.

February 2015 represented the 27th consecutive month of year-over-year sales growth for the Ram brand with 6,294 sales, marking an increase of 9 per cent over 5,770 units sold in February 2014.  These results represent a monthly sales record for the brand.  Looking specifically at Ram pickup truck sales within the full Ram brand line-up, there were 5,645 sold in February 2015, compared with 5,390 trucks sold in February 2014.  These results represent a 5 per cent increase and mark a February sales record.
