2026 Jeep® Wrangler Earns Top Compact Utility Vehicle Honors in the J.D. Power 2026 U.S. ALG Residual Value Awards

January 22, 2026 , Auburn Hills, Mich. -  The Jeep® brand is celebrating best-in-class honors in the J.D. Power 2026 U.S. ALG Residual Value AwardsSM, with the 2026 Jeep Wrangler earning the highest residual value in the Compact SUV segment. 
 
The prestigious annual awards set the automotive industry standard for predicting which vehicle models will retain the highest percentage of their manufacturer’s suggested retail price over a three-year period of ownership. 
 
“The Jeep Wrangler’s recognition in the J.D. Power ALG Residual Value Awards underscores its enduring strength in the market,” said Jeff Kommor, head of U.S. retail sales. “Among the many reasons customers choose a Wrangler are for its capability, authenticity and long‑term value, and this honor reinforces why it remains the benchmark in the segment.” 
 
Commanding the Off-road Landscape 
The Jeep brand is off to an incredible start to the New Year with several recent Wrangler launches, including the 2026 Wrangler Moab 392, which is now available for order in all 50 states, including California, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Vermont and Washington. The HEMI®-powered Wrangler recently launched the brand’s Twelve 4 Twelve campaign, a yearlong rollout of monthly Wrangler buzz models celebrating 85 years of off-road heritage. Other recent product drops include the 2026 Wrangler Whitecap and the 2026 Wrangler 85th Anniversary, with more special editions on the way.  
 
Separately, Jeep also introduced the limited-edition 2026 Wrangler Willys ‘41, now available with the standard 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder (270 hp) and an eight-speed automatic transmission or with the available 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 (285 horsepower) and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The heritage-inspired trim honors the original WWII military Jeep vehicle with exclusive ‘41 military olive drab-style paint, matching wheels, tan interior accents, significant off-road upgrades like a rear axle locker, 33-inch tires, steel bumpers and modern technology.
