With first‑quarter market share now at 7.6%, FCA Canada stands as the fastest‑growing automaker in the country, supported by continued expansion across operations and a national workforce of 10,000 as Canada’s largest automotive employer. “Stellantis in Canada is off to a strong start in 2026, and our first‑quarter results reflect the strength of our product lineup, and the trust Canadians continue to place in our brands,” said Trevor Longley, president – Canada, Stellantis. “With sustained market share growth and solid performance across our product portfolio, our momentum continues to move upward. And as Canada’s largest automotive employer, we’re proud to be expanding our workforce and driving forward with innovative vehicles built for Canadians.” First-quarter highlights Chrysler The Canadian‑assembled Chrysler Pacifica once again delivered standout performance, with first‑quarter sales surging 256% to 4,008 units. The Chrysler minivan family continues to hold its position as Canada’s best‑selling minivans, reinforcing the brand’s leadership and strength in the segment. Earlier today, the brand unveiled the all‑new 2027 Pacifica, which debuts a bold, new front exterior design and illuminated wing badge, serving as the blueprint for the next generation of Chrysler vehicles. Dodge The Canadian‑assembled 2026 Dodge Charger named 2026 North American Car of the Year™ (NACTOY) continues its strong momentum in the first quarter, with sales rising 27% as dealership volumes increase. Growth was driven by the launch of the Charger Scat Pack, powered by the high‑output 3.0‑litre twin-turbo Hurricane inline‑six SIXPACK engine delivering 550 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of 3.9 seconds. Dodge has further expanded the lineup with the new, SIXPACK‑powered, 420‑horsepower Charger R/T with standard all‑wheel drive, as four‑door Charger R/T and Scat Pack models now arrive at Canadian dealerships. Dodge Durango posts a 21% increase in sales compared with the first quarter of 2025, supported by renewed excitement around the model lineup. For the first time, the legendary 392‑cubic‑inch V‑8 HEMI® engine is now standard on the Durango R/T, delivering 475 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque. Jeep® Jeep brand sales increase 3% in the first quarter compared with the same period last year. Jeep Gladiator delivers strong momentum, reporting an 89% increase in Q1 sales, underscoring its continued appeal among customers in the large SUV segment. And the legendary Jeep Wrangler took the crown as the No. 1-selling vehicle in the off-road UV segment for Q1 with 2,518 units sold. That momentum is set to continue as the all‑new 2026 Jeep Cherokee hybrid returns to the Canadian market, offering a compelling blend of iconic design, capability and efficiency. The midsize SUV, engineered to deliver a driving experience only the Jeep brand can offer is now arriving in Canadian dealerships in volume. Ram Ram 1500 and Ram heavy-duty trucks post respective increases of 47% and 31% year over year, driving the brand up 7% in total. Excitement continues to build around the return of the HEMI V‑8, now arriving at dealerships, as well as anticipation for the upcoming 2027 Ram 1500 SRT TRX. FIAT The fully electric Fiat 500e remains one of Canada’s most affordable EVs and continues to draw new buyers. Sales grew 72% year over year, underscoring strong demand for efficient, city‑friendly electric mobility.
