October 6, 2015 FCA US LLC is recalling an estimated 44 trucks, just one of which was believed to be in customer hands, to replace their engine control modules (ECMs).

October 6, 2015 FCA US LLC is recalling an estimated 1,624 minivans, most of which are in dealer hands, to inspect and service, as required, their hood brackets.

Statement: TREAD Reporting

September 29, 2015 As a result of FCA US LLC’s heightened scrutiny of its regulatory reporting obligations growing out of its recent Consent Order with NHTSA, FCA US identified deficiencies in its TREAD reporting. FCA US promptly notified NHTSA of these issues, and committed to a thorough investigation, to be followed by complete remediation. FCA US is in regular communication with NHTSA about its progress in the investigation. FCA US takes this issue extremely seriously, and will continue to cooperate with NHTSA to resolve this matter and ensure these issues do not re-occur.

September 14, 2015 FCA US LLC is recalling an estimated 23,688 cars in the U.S. to replace certain control modules and mounting brackets that may contribute to a loss of motive power.

Statement: Steering-wheel Wiring Harness

September 10, 2015 FCA US LLC is conducting a voluntary safety recall to inspect and service, as required, wiring harnesses in an estimated 1.06 million U.S.-market trucks.

September 10, 2015 FCA US LLC is recalling an estimated 156,498 heavy-duty trucks in the U.S. to inspect and repair, as required, bracket welds that may lead to diminished steering response.

Statement: Side-curtain Air-bag

September 10, 2015 FCA US LLC is recalling an estimated 188,000 trucks in the U.S. to make their side-curtain air-bags compliant with a federal regulation to reduce the risk of rear occupant ejection during a rollover.

Statement: Wiring Harness

September 9, 2015 FCA US LLC is recalling an estimated 1,747 trucks in the U.S. and Canada to inspect, reroute and replace – as required – their wire harnesses to prevent a potential short-circuit.

September 4, 2015 FCA US LLC is conducting a voluntary safety recall to update software in approximately 7,810 U.S.-market SUVs equipped with certain radios. More than half remain in dealer hands and will be serviced before they are sold.

August 31, 2015 FCA US LLC is recalling an estimated 158,671 SUVs in the U.S. to help protect their control modules from static buildup that may potentially disable the vehicles’ windshield wipers.

August 20, 2015 FCA US LLC is conducting a voluntary safety recall to inspect and replace, as required, certain control arms on an estimated 199 U.S.-market trucks.

Statement: Electrical Connectors

August 14, 2015 FCA US LLC is conducting a voluntary safety recall to correct a condition in an estimated 77,834 U.S.-market sedans that may lead to engine stall or gearshift to neutral. The Company is unaware of any related injuries or accidents. The condition, which may be accompanied by a dashboard warning-light illumination, does not affect air-bag function.

August 1, 2015 FCA US LLC is conducting a voluntary safety recall to recalibrate control modules on approximately 284,153 U.S.-market sedans to prevent inadvertent side-curtain air-bag and seatbelt pre-tensioner deployment.

FCA Clarifies Scope of Remedies in NHTSA Consent Order

July 27, 2015 Certain press reports have misconstrued the scope and therefore the estimated costs of certain remedies contemplated by the consent order entered into by FCA US with NHTSA and announced today. FCA intends to clarify the scope of such remedies.

FCA US Reaches Consensual Resolution of NHTSA Investigation on 23 Recall Campaigns

July 26, 2015 FCA US LLC (FCA US) today announced it has entered into a consent order with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) which resolves the issues raised by NHTSA with respect to FCA US’s execution of 23 recall campaigns in NHTSA’s Special Order issued to FCA US on May 22, 2015 and further addressed at a  NHTSA public hearing held on July 2, 2015.
