For Earth Day, DaimlerChrysler Shows Commitment to Renewable Fuels

April 18, 2006 Since 1998, DaimlerChrysler has sold nearly 1.5 million flexible fuel vehicles (FFVs) designed to run on E85 fuel. Beginning with the 2008 model year, DaimlerChrysler will produce nearly 500,000 FFVs per year for sale in the United States.
