As the first C-SUV from Alfa Romeo, Tonale blends more than 110 years of heritage with electrifying performance from its plug-in hybrid powertrain that delivers up to 53 kilometres of pure electric range, best-in-class 285 horsepower, and 347 lb.-ft. of torque. Alfa Romeo Tonale also offers a technologically advanced 2.0-litre turbocharged inline four-cylinder, a member of Stellantis’ Global Medium Engine family, rated at a best-in-class standard horsepower of 268 and 295 lb.-ft. of torque paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Equipped with a twin-scroll, low inertia turbocharger, direct fuel injection and engine stop-start technology, this engine gives Tonale the brand’s iconic dynamic performance and drivability. The 2025 Alfa Romeo Tonale evolves from three trims to one core version with available Veloce, Active Assist and Premium packages and additional options for simplified ordering. New limited-production Tributo Italiano special edition is introduced for Tonale plug-in hybrid models. Tributo Italiano exterior features include body-colour-painted kit, 20-inch Grigio wheels, red Brembo calipers, dual chrome exhaust, Gloss Black daylight opening (DLO), hands-free power liftgate, aluminum door sills and black-painted roof.
