Last month, the manual version of the Dodge Vision 2016 started to arrive in dealerships," said Bruno Cattori, President and CEO of FCA México. "This vehicle offers one of the most powerful engines in its segment, as well as safety, space and comfort. “At FCA México, we know the importance of providing quality service to our customers, so in order to keep offering them a great service, we opened the sixth Mopar Shop in Mexico, where they can get original parts for their vehicles." Alfa Romeo Alfa Romeo brand logged sales of 17 units; best August ever. Chrysler Chrysler brand sold 268 units. Chrysler 300 sales rose 25 percent. Chrysler Town & Country sold 189 units. Dodge Dodge brand sales continue to be the volume leader for the FCA México with sales of 2,481 units, up 66 percent versus previous year. Another month of strong Dodge Attitude sales (1,087 units) made it the top-selling vehicle of the brand and set a sales record for best August ever. Dodge Charger posted August sales of 135 units. Dodge Journey sales grew 2 percent. Dodge Vision, which is now available in a manual version, posted sales of 200 units. FIAT FIAT brand continues its positive sales stride with an increase of 13 percent. Fiat Uno achieved sales of 340 units, best sales month ever, while the Fiat Ducato posted a sales increase of 44 percent over August 2014. Jeep® Jeep brand sales for August 2015 were 1,772 units. Jeep Wrangler sales of 317 units were 69 percent better than August 2014 sales. This vehicle posted its best August ever. Jeep Grand Cherokee reported sales of 402 units. Mitsubishi Motors Mitsubishi Motors Mexico extended its winning streak in sales, achieving a double-digit increase for 14 consecutive months. The brand reported 1,280 units sold during August, which represents an increase of 41 percent on the registration for the same month in 2014. Mitsubishi Mirage continues its good reputation in the domestic market and extends its success story in the country by selling 406 units. Mitsubishi L200 achieved an increase in sales of 11 percent, compared to the same period last year, exceeding 307 units sold. During the month of August, reaffirming the continued commitment of the brand to offer one of the most complete portfolios in the industry, Mitsubishi Motors Mexico introduced the all-new Mitsubishi Outlander 2016, reporting sales of more than 174 units. Mitsubishi Motors Mexico has sold 10,264 units during 2015, an increase of 45 percent over that recorded in August 2014. Ram Ram brand increased sales 5 percent to 1,749 units, led by strong performance of the Ram 700, which reported sales of 661 units. The Ram ProMaster, proudly assembled in Mexico, reported a sales increase of 15 percent. Ram 4000 sales grew 19 percent.
